Requirements

  • An NVIDIA GPU, RTX 30, 40 or 50 series up to H100, H200, B200 and B300; one model per node.
  • Ubuntu 24.04 (or 22.04 with the HWE kernel), the NVIDIA driver, Docker and Sysbox.
  • A public IP, at least 100 Mbit/s download, ports 8080 and 2200 open.
  • At least 8 GB of RAM and 150 GB of disk; 1.5 times the GPU memory in disk for idle pay.
  • A Secure node that drops a rental pays 48 hours of that rental's price; list a machine you cannot keep stable as Spot.

How you are paid

  • Rental fees: 95% of what renters pay, every day at 17:00 UTC for the day two days earlier.
  • In USDT on Ethereum (minimum $5, 5% conversion fee) or as Subnet 51 alpha.

Yes. A listed GPU that is not rented earns idle pay at a rate Lium sets per GPU model. To qualify, connect Discord in the Provider Portal, price the node at or under the model’s soft limit, give it disk of at least 1.5 times its total GPU memory, and run 1 or 8 GPUs per node or turn on GPU splitting.

How and when are GPU providers paid on Lium?

Rental fees (95% of what renters pay) are paid every day at 17:00 UTC for the day two days earlier, in USDT on Ethereum (minimum $5, 5% conversion fee) or as Subnet 51 alpha. Idle pay and rented extra are added every tempo, about 72 minutes. An account created with an e-mail address or Google is paid in USDT once it adds a payout address.

Lium vs Vast.ai hosting vs RunPod Secure Cloud: where should I list my GPUs?

List on Lium if you want daily payouts and pay for idle hours: rental fees arrive every day with a $5 USDT minimum, and a qualifying idle GPU still earns. Vast.ai hosts are invoiced weekly on Fridays, with a $20 minimum and up to two weeks to the first payout (Vast.ai host payout docs). RunPod Secure Cloud runs only in vetted Tier 3 and Tier 4 data centers that meet SOC 2, ISO 27001 and PCI DSS (RunPod security docs), so a GPU machine at home cannot list there; on Lium it can.
