What Lium is

Lium is a marketplace for GPU compute. Independent providers connect their machines, called nodes, and renters rent GPU capacity on them as containers, called pods.
Live GPU prices and availability are public, and reading them needs no account.

How renting works

Every pod has an hourly price, and billing is per second with no minimum rental period.
Starting a pod needs a balance that covers 15 minutes of that pod. Billing stops when the pod is deleted or its scheduled end time arrives.
The service is prepaid. Renters top up a balance, and pods draw on it per second while they exist.

How providers are paid

Each provider sets its own price per GPU-hour for its machines.

The provider receives 95% of what the renter pays for the rental. The share is the same for every provider.
Providers are paid their share of rental fees daily.
Providers set their prices and see their payments in the Provider Portal at provider.lium.io.

How to pay

Renters top up their balance by card, processed by Stripe, or in supported cryptocurrencies.
Every card top-up gets a Stripe invoice, and renters can put a company name, address and tax ID on it.

The lium.io Python package ships the CLI and a Python SDK for managing pods from code.
The platform REST API is described in OpenAPI 3.1 at lium.io/api/openapi.json.
The documentation site runs a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server at docs.lium.io/mcp, so AI agents can search and read the docs.
An agent skill for AI coding agents is published at github.com/Datura-ai/lium-skill.
A machine-readable summary of Lium is at lium.io/llms.txt, and the GPU price table is served as JSON at lium.io/pricing.json.
